During Master Yin Shun’s retreat, this was the living quarters of Venerable Hui-Rui. The room has been restored to recreate the extremely simple arrangement of the time—just “one table and one bed.” Its sparse furnishings offer an authentic glimpse into the simple and disciplined life of a practitioner wholly devoted to supporting the Master’s retreat.
